Be comfortable and safe

You need to make sure that your computing environment at home is safe and comfortable.

How you use these Health and Safety resource pages is up to you, but we've picked a few that cover 'best practice'.  There's also a central OU site which covers this area.

Please note that If an adverse physical condition persists despite making changes to your desk, seating arrangements and computer, you should consult a qualified medical practitioner for advice.

You need to concentrate on these main areas:

• Layout of Desk and Computer •
• Visual issues and breaks •
• Monitor and display settings •

Follow the links above to read about each item.
